Local and Cloud
At the top of the left menu is a switch with two sides: Local and Cloud.

| Local | Atlas Studio itself: your chats, projects and models on this computer. |
| Cloud | The Atlas website, inside the app, already signed in as you. |
Use Cloud for the things that live on the web: workflows, signals, alerts, triggers, the Marketplace and your plan. Use Local for everything that runs on your computer. Nothing is lost when you switch: your local screens are exactly as you left them when you come back.
- To come back from Cloud, use the same Local | Cloud switch at the top of the website's menu.
- A link that leaves Atlas opens in your normal web browser.
- Light or dark mode is the same on both sides.
- The app remembers which side you were on the next time it opens.
When the left menu is folded, the switch is one round button.
Note
Cloud needs the internet. If it cannot reach Atlas it says so, with a Try again button. Your local projects keep running either way.
